As you are aware the Membership Team, on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master, have delivered the revised Members’ Pathway familiarisation presentations on Zoom throughout April.  They have now prepared the 2nd phase of this delivery and are ready to offer face to face seminars at 3 venues on the Lodge Membership Officer role and the formation of Lodge Membership Teams.  The seminars will consist of a number of sessions, including presentations and mediated workshops. They will cover a recap of the Members’ Pathway, the Unsolicited Candidate Process, Plan, Attract, Engage and Retrieve, which will result in the understanding and benefit of each Lodge utilising The Members’ Pathway in their own way.  The aim remains to enable lodges to grow and retain their own members as they see fit.

I would therefore like to invite you to attend one of the proposed face to face seminars as set out in the program below.  I would hope that yourself as secretary would attend as well as the Lodge Membership Officer, Lodge Mentor, Almoner, the Worshipful Master and any other brother who may be interested in taking this forward in your lodge.  Please note this includes your MM’s and below.

Please use the form at the bottom of this page to book into any of the seminars.  Alternatively, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. I hope that you and others in your lodge will be able to attend.  This initiative is aimed to help lodges grow.  I cannot stress how important that this is to the future of many lodges, not just in this Province but across UGLE.  The adoption of the revised Members’ Pathway will help you develop a lodge plan, provide help and guidance on attracting new members and how to engage with them and retain them after they join.

I hope to see you at one of the seminars later in the year.

Yours Sincerely and Fraternally

Charles Yelland, PSGD,
Assistant Provincial Grand Master
