On Friday 14th January W. Bro. Brian Wolfendale was re-installed by declaration into the chair as master for the coming year, a moment in history as no previous master in the lodge has ever served three terms in succession.

A second moment in history was also recorded that night when W. Bor. Andy Vodden MBE acted as the presiding officer, his first official visit as the newest Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the Province of Devonshire having only been promoted two days previously.

The evening ran like clockwork, the Worshipful Master re-installed the officers remaining in office and then installed his new officers with full and sincere ritual, the address was then given to the master by W. Bro. Andy in a work perfect faultless presentation, this was then followed by W. Bro. Paul Howard-Baker who addressed the Wardens and W. Bro. Bill Thomas who addressed the Brethren both were likewise, word perfect.

The Lodge meeting which was held at the Dolphin Hotel Bovey Tracey was then closed in Peace, Love & Harmony according to ancient tradition and the members and their guests retired to the bar while the hotel staff re-dressed the room for the festive board, the brethren then returned to enjoy a superb meal and good company, the evening drew to a close at 22.00 with everyone agreeing they had witnessed a wonderful and special occasion.
