The Provincial Grand Master of Devonshire R.W. Bro. Ian Kingsbury was one of the dignitaries laying wreaths at the memorial outside Exeter Cathedral on Remembrance Sunday.

Whilst at the memorial in Teignmouth W. Bro. Paul Beatty of St. Michaels Lodge 8186 together with W. Bro. Craig Greenwood of Benevolent Lodge 303 can be seen holding the wreaths just prior to laying them.

The Freemasons of Exmouth were represented at the towns Remembrance Sunday Tribute by W. Bro Mike Davison Worshipful Master of Sun Lodge 106, W. Bro. Peter O’Connor Past Master of Rolle Lodge 2759 and W. Bro Mark Thirft MSM Worshipful Master of Per Mare Per Terram Lodge 9355 who laid their wreaths in front of a large crowd at the War Memorial in the Strand Gardens.

This year the Royal British Legion celebrated 100 years since their formation on the 15th May 1921 and it was also the one hundredth anniversary of the unveiling and dedication of the Exmouth Memorial Cross on the 10th August 1921.
