The Devon Masonic Golf Association Autumn Meeting after a break of 2 years, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, held its autumn meeting on Thursday 26th August 2021 at Stover Golf Club, Newton Abbott.
36 Brethren in total from the North, East, South and West of the Province of Devonshire enjoyed a full days golf with a superb 2 course meal and prize presentation all in aid of Charity. The format for the day was a 4 ball better ball with ¾ handicap (Playing as Pairs). The weather did not let us down and the sun shone all day on the players.
Twice a year on the 4th Thursday of May and August Masons from all over the Province of Devonshire as well as a few invited guests play for the Devon Masonic Golf Challenge Cup (winner), the Nigel Adkins (Runner up) Shield and now added to this the Jo Mullins Trophy for the nearest the pin along with cheques made payable to their Lodges for Charity of their choosing. There were also Charity cheques for runner up 2nd, 3rd & 4th places. The total charity cheques this year at the two meetings totalled £320.00 and were presented to the prize winners. The Stover Golf Club again put on a superb evening meal. Presentations were then made to the winners of the day, W.Bro Peter Haige Past APGM and President of the DCMA Association presented all the prizes.

W.Bro Peter Haige Past APGM, President of the Association welcomed four new members, he also thanked everyone who put the day together especially the hard work involved by W.Bro. Allan Seager as Secretary and organizer , W.Bro. Cliff Nightingale, Treasurer and Bill Carnell for holding the raffle.
Why not come and join us on Thursday 26th May 2022 and Thursday 25th August 2022, no membership required just book in and enjoy a game of golf with a meal and if you play well enough, a cheque to take back to your Lodge Charity Steward to go to Charity.
