This popular charity have taken onboard various comments over the years and the teddies have been “modernised”. The picture shows the old style teddy which is the purple one and the new style teddy.
The main difference is that the new teddy looks more like a bear and the clothing section is much softer and more appealing to children.
Also new is the heart shaped nose and a better label. Many members commented that the label on the original bear was too small and this label is an improvement as it also has a space for the recipient to write the bears name, thereby personalising teddy to make it even more special. The label clearly states that the teddy was donated by Freemasons.
To date, the number of teddies donated is over 63,000 and all possible by your generosity brethren.
