Cheques for £2,000 presented to local charitiesW. Bro Ken Bibbings the Worshipful Master of Courtland Lodge along with W.Bro Mark Bowes-Cavanagh (Charity Steward) had kindly invited two special guests to our Lodge of Instruction meeting held on Thursday 11 th January 2018.

During his year in the chair of King Solomon, W.Bro Ken had nominated to support two very worthy charities, the first being Guide Dogs for the Blind, the second being Children’s Hospice South West. Both of these charities have been close to Ken & his family for a number of years & it was good to support them both.

Maureen Pugh, the local representative of Guide dogs for the blind was presented a cheque for £1000, she said that the money would be put to good work in support the work they do within the bay.

Laura Board attended the evening from Exeter & was also presented with a cheque for £1000 & was very grateful for the kind support the lodge had shown to their cause.
