A Great time was had by all who attended the evening Christmas Meal held at the Plympton Conservative Club following the most enjoyable Provincial Carol Service at St. Marys Church Plympton on Sunday 15th December, which featured the Masonic Choir and attended by many brethren and their families from across the Province.

Some 80 diners welcomed the Provincial Grand Master and The Reverend Prebendary Robert Harris as Guests of Honour and then feasted on an excellent meal.

During the evening there was a Raffle which raised £445. The majority of prizes were generously donated by the members of “The 300 Club” including a Star Prize of a Christmas Hamper with £50 in cash, thanks to “The 300 Club”. During the draw there was also a special moment when a large Christmas Teddy Bear donated by W. Bro. Mike Dinham and his wife Carole was won by young George, who was delighted with his prize.

The proceeds from the evening, including the Raffle raised £943.00 presented to the Rt.W. Bro. Ian Kingsbury JP, Provincial Grand Master along with a Bouquet of flowers for Mrs Tony Kingsbury by W. Bro. John Pritchard after the meal. Flowers were also presented to The Reverend Prebendary Robert Harris.

Many thanks to W. Bro. John Pritchard Festival Events Manager for his hard work in organising the Provincial Carol Service and the Evening Festive Meal, assisted by W. Bro. Jon Moran. Our thanks also to the Masonic Choir and W.Bro. John Smerdon who designed and printed the Flyers, Orders of Service and evening menu cards along with his photographic memories of the whole day and evening which can be viewed by clicking the link below.
